Earn Everything - Nothing Given

When I first thought about getting into the whole firearms instructor business I was concerned. My first thought was why would someone decide to spend their hard earned money on me to transfer my knowledge onto them? There are so many other firearms instructors out there, why me? My wife seen that something was causing me concern so she asked, and I told her.

Her response was in a question, can you tell me about all the firearms training, active shooter instructor training, swat training, sniper training, and real world law enforcement experience you've had? I knew exactly what she was doing. (she's smart and amazing)

I may be new to the business world of firearms instructor, but I've got several years under my belt with all the training I have received from great instructors. And that brings me to sharing with you that I'm continuing to train and learn from some of the best in the business.

Last month I spent a weekend earning my instructor certificate from the NRA. Yes, I'm certified by P.O.S.T. and the State of TN, but I'm always eager to earn more knowledge. And the NRA instructors made you earn the certificate. They were very clear that they would not sign off on you unless you earned it. The reason was because their names would be on the certificate, and they didn't want just anyone out here training people.

So I'm excited to announce I will be offering NRA basic firearm's classes in 2023.
